I'm SICK!! grrrr.. I missed school today which totally sucks because I missed French and that means I missed the Mardi Gras celebration we were going to do since today is the official Mardi Gras day!!! Ugh this sucks cause I can't even get all dressed up in my super awsome purple/yellow/green outfit :(. I hate being sick and what's worst is all the drugs(medical) I'm taking aren't working so I'm like doomed to have this stomach ache(know it sounds minor but believe me it most definetly is not)Ispent my whole day watching Lost season 1 episodes and doing homework I neglected..I'm pathetic and starving!!(My mother hasn't been feeding me real food because of my "weak stomach") So I'm bored so I'm gonna post bunches of pictures of my friends that I miss.

S'Wonderful S'Marvelous!!

I loooooove these Marc Jacobs backwards heels there amazing and genius(and I know I'm extremely late saying this). But my only question is how do you walk in them? I mean what happens when you forget to not walk on your heels? Absolute disaster!! But there genius anyways and I pity the poor models who had to walk in them during Fashion Week. I mean there already dead tired enough! Well, just incase you haven't seen Marc Jacobs' backwards heel here a picture of one:

Okay so terrible news!(And i know I'm swimming against the current here) Michelle Obama is on the cover of the March issue of U.S. Vogue(my birthday issue) (I know a bit late but I told you I live in the middle of nowhere)not that I have anything against Michelle Obama...wait that's a lie I just hate how everyone thinks she's sooo amazing! I mean I love her clothes but she wears them like an old hag! She's not the one running a country she's only married to the guy! GRRRRR! Okay I'm done pouting. I went to see the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic, I love it the clothes made me drool on the movie theatre floor! I changed my oufit to go to it though so no pretty dress :( The reason was the weather though(it dropped to like 30 in an hour) oh well I liked the outfit I had here anyways. I'm not wearing shoes in the picture though cuz I fell on the stairs in my gladiaters(not an unusual event) so I took em off.

I've descided since you've not really seen anything much of me I'll do my Outfit Highlights of the past few weeks of myself and friends like Meg and others.

My shredded Tank Top I made, American Eagle capris, Gap leather braided belt, Urban Outfitters Button Up. and Alex Marie flats, I didn't have any pictures of me actually in the outfit so I did this

Old high waisted shorts, Talbots oversized blazer, old Harry Potter Gryffonder Tee, fishnet leggings.

The Beginning

I've finely done it! So I'm not much for awkward ''hello's'' so I've decided to screw hello's and get straight to the fun part..POSTING! But before I go I'm at least going to introduce myself. My name is Emily and I'm obviously new to blogging and have no clue what I'm doing. I looooove fashion, there's just no denying it. In a sea of amberzombies(my Texas surroundings) I stick out like a sore thumb. I live in Texas and not the nice Dallas-y fabulous part but the...I don't really know how to explain it, it's more like a half suburbia half town and country half ghetto....so I'd say I live in a subettotry(a mix of the three places, quite clever I know) limbo. No fun at all. I'm a teenager so it's like right on the brink of actually getting someplace in life(if that's how you explain the complete anxiety I have when I know fashion week is happening on the other side of the country) Oh and yeah I do do use a lot of parenthesis don't exactly know why though....Anyways my guilty pleasure blogs are of course Jane's Sea of Shoes, Camille's Childhood Flames, and the ever so clever Tavi's Style Rookie. I guess that's all I've got to say for the first post, except I need to find a catch phrase.
